Boys Bowling Sweeps Week, on 5-Match Winning Streak

Boys Bowling Sweeps Week, on 5-Match Winning Streak

The Nolensville Knights boys bowling team extended their winning streak to 5 games after beating Page, Independence, and Brentwood this week.

On Monday, the Knights battled Page. Noah Osbourn led the team with 211 in the 10-pin game, while AJ Schultz followed that with a 168. The Knights led 7-1 after the 10-pin game, and after going 2-2 in the first 4 bakers matches, the Knights took the last game and beat Page 18-5.

The Knights took on Independence on Wednesday. Ricky Viarengo led the team with a 206 in the 10-pin game but couldn't get the win. Brody Miller started off strong with strikes in the first 4 frames and finished with a 189. The Knights led the Patriots 7-1 after the 10-pin game and won the first two bakers as well. Page wasn't done yet as they won the final 3 bakers and cut the score to 11-7. After final score calculations, the Knights took home their fourth consecutive win 14-9.

On Thursday, the boys had a big test against Brentwood.  After the 10-pin matches, the team was deadlocked in a 3-3 tie, but even with Ricky Viarengo, Gabe Rossi, and Noah Osbourn all crossing the 200 mark, Brentwood had a two-point lead because of total pin count.  The team won the first baker, tied the second, lost the third, won the fourth and lost the 5th. The deciding factor in the match came down to total pinfall and your Knights won that by 16 pins!  The team is now 5-2 with a rematch against Franklin on Tuesday.
