The Nolensville Knights girls bowling team went 2-1 this week. Beating Page and Brentwood and losing to Indy in a very close match.
On Monday against Page after the 10-pin game, the girls found themselves down 3-5, but responded by winning 4 of the 5 baker games and total pin count to beat Page 16-7!
On Wednesday, the girls took on Independence and even with Sydney Osbourn's high game of 159, they quickly dug themselves in a hole by losing 5 of the 6 10-pin games. The responded by winning 3 of the 5 baker matches but it was not enough to overcome the outcome of the 10-pin games and they lost 7-16.
On Thursday, the girls took on a pesky team from Brentwood. Sydney Osbourn and Avenly Galardi led the team in the 10-pin games with scores of 168 and 163 respectively, but Brentwood won total pins and the teams were tied 4-4. The team did what needed to be done and won 3 of the 5 baker matches and beat Brentwood in total pin count by 4 pins. The came away victorious over Brentwood 15-8.
The team is now 5-2 and has sights set on a rematch with Franklin on Tuesday.
